Sigh…everything’s smelling like smoke around here. Again. And there’s now a dull grey haze everywhere, accompanied by a thin dusting of ash.
None of this has been helped by the several hot [99°F, 37°C], dry [3% humidity], and windy [60mph, 97kph] days we’ve gotten this past week.
At least we’re getting some decent sunsets.
Nooooo… It’s getting too hot to go kayaking now [more heat=more snow melting=dangerously high streams].
Also, that awkward moment when you realize that you can still fit into your 8 year old middle school gym uniform, and that you can’t walk past your old school while wearing it…because security tries to get you to admit you’re ditching class…
Sooo…skiing season just ended, it’s getting to be a bit too hot to be out on my 15 year old mountain bike, and I can’t currently afford any climbing gear [$200+ for a 60m rope, plus everything else], so, I guess that leaves whitewater kayaking. Without a skirt [meaning I’m constantly sinking].
Since I don’t have any kayaking pictures that I know of, how ‘bout a few rowers?
